Hofmann donates hot dogs just in time for the holiday season

SYRACUSE -- Wednesday morning the Hofmann Sausage Company donated a total of 48,000 hot dogs to two local organizations. The Food Bank of Central New York and the Rescue Mission of Syracuse both received 24,000.

The hot dogs were personally delivered by Hofmann Founder and Vice Chairman of  the Board Rusty Flook, and Chief Relationships Officer Dennis DuVal.

"We're looking forward to giving for the holiday season and for those in need," Flook said about the donation.

"Everyone loves Hofmann, so this is going to go a long way," said Rescue Mission CEO Alan Thornton about the donation.

Hofmann also recently donated 24,000 hot dogs each to the Food Bank of Western New York in Buffalo and Foodlink in Rochester.
