SYRACUSE -- Seven Members of Nottingham High School class of 1961 have partnered with Hillside Work-Scholarship Connection to launch an Apple iPad-based program that they hope will help enhance the learning for students enrolled in the youth development and anti-drop out program.

The class of ’61 will present the non-profit with $23 thousand dollars that they raised to purchase the iPads and other equipment.

At their 50th class reunion the alumni said they were astounded that the graduation rate at Nottingham had dropped from 98% to 48%, and they wanted to do something about it.
