AUBURN -- Auburn Police and Fire Departments responded to a fire on Logan Street early on November 17th.

Police say that upon arrival the fire had fully engulfed the house.

There were two people home, but they got out safely, according to police.

Two pet dogs did die in the fire.

Police say the Red Cross provided temporary living arrangements for the victims.

After initial investigations, police say the incident is suspicious.

The cause of the fire is unknown.
