MONTEZUMA, CAYUGA COUNTY -- Two people were killed in a crash involving two cars and a Seneca Falls school bus, according to Cayuga County Sheriff David Gould.

The Auburn Citizen  newspaper reports the crash occurred at around 6 p.m. Tuesday. Gould said the school bus and a car were traveling south on Route 90 in the town of Montezuma when a car traveling north swerved into the southbound lane, ricocheted off the bus and hit the southbound car head-on. The bus was carrying students from a sports event at Port Byron.

The names of the victims have not yet been revealed.
