SYRACUSE -- Syracuse Police are looking for two men who robbed the South Ave Market Saturday evening.

Police say two male suspects, one holding a handgun, entered South Ave Market at 5:40 p.m. Saturday and demanded money. They stole the entire cash register off the counter and fled on foot from the store. There was an undisclosed amount of cash in the register.

There were no injuries during the robbery. The suspects are described as two black men with bandanas covering the lower half of their faces. Police say the man with the gun wore a brown hooded sweatshirt, while the other suspect was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.

Anyone with information on this robbery is asked to contact Syracuse Police.
