UTICA (AP) -- Police in Utica are seeking witnesses to several assaults at a weekend house party.

Officials tell the Utica Observer-Dispatch that one man was found unconscious and may have been hit in the head with a baseball bat at a house party in the city early Sunday morning. He's hospitalized.

Police say the brother of that man is also hospitalized with a head injury and says a man clubbed him with a metal bat and a group of people knocked him down and kicked him.

A third man told police he was punched in the face. He was treated for a cut above the eye.

Anyone who may have witnessed the assaults is asked to contact Utica police.
