FAYETTEVILLE -- Rolling Stone magazine sketch artist Philip Burke painted a 3-foot-tall Jim Boeheim golf ball as part of Golf Balls on Parade on Monday at the Wegmans on East Genesee Street in Fayetteville.

The initiative is a community relations arts project supporting upstate New York nonprofits on behalf of the 95th PGA Championship, which will be played at Oak Hill Country Club in Rochester, N.Y. in August.

A portion of the sale of each artist-decorated golf ball will be split equally among four charities: Hillside Work Scholarship Connection, Golisano Children's Hospital, Reach for the Green, and the Jim and Juli Boeheim Foundati

In the spring, the Boeheim golf ball will be auctioned off with all the proceeds going to the Jim and Juli Boeheim Foundation.
