A Kirkville man is accused of driving drunk and crashing his car.

Madison County Sheriff's deputies say 41-year-old Aaron Williams was driving his 2008 Dodge sedan eastbound on Fyler Road in the Town of Sullivan around 9:40 p.m. Sunday when he lost control.

Deputies say he drove through traffic cones and flares that were set up by National Grid crews who were working in the area. They say Williams' car slammed into a parked pickup truck owned by National Grid. None of the workers were hurt.

Deputies say Williams had a blood alcohol content of .20, which is more than twice the legal limit.

Williams is charged with driving while intoxicated and aggravated driving while intoxicated. He is scheduled to appear in the Town of Sullivan Court on January 15.
