OSWEGO -- An Oswego man is accused of driving while high on drugs.

43-year-old Mathew Perry, of 247 Syracuse Avenue, is facing a slew of charges. Police say he was driving a 2007 Ford F-150 pick-up truck when he was pulled over at the intersection of Lawrence Street and East 8th Street.

Police searched Perry and say they found 18 individually wrapped baggies of cocaine. The total weight of the cocaine seized was approximately 17 grams.

Perry is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, operating a motor vehicle impaired by drugs, failure to stop at a stop sign, failure to signal and inadequate plate lamp.
