SYRACUSE -- A man was robbed while walking his dog just after 6:30 p.m. Thursday evening in the area of Lea Lane at Village Drive.

Syracuse Police say the 38-year-old man was walking his dog when he was approached by three men. One of them asked for a cigarette.

Police say two of the suspects then kicked the man while a third suspect took his wallet and portable CD player.

The suspects ran away towards Edtim Road. Police say the victim refused medical treatment.

The suspects are described as three black men in their teens to early twenties. They're between 5'10" and 6' tall and weigh about 180 pounds. Police say one suspect wore a red hat and the other two suspects wore all black clothing.

Syracuse Police ask anyone with information to call them at 315-442-5222. All calls will be kept confidential.
