CHITTENANGO -- The Chittenango High School Choir will join country music star Kenny Rogers on stage at Turning Stone Resort Casino Thursday, December 20, as part of his Christmas & Hits tour.

"It’s never Christmas until the choir sings," Rogers said in a media release. "I’ve featured local choirs for 30 years of Christmas tours. I know the Chittenango and Bolivar kids have been rehearsing hard and I look forward to joining them on stage at Turning Stone."

The Choir plans to open the show and will sing a number of songs with both Rogers and the opening act, Billy Dean.

This is the choir’s fourth show with Kenny Rogers at Turning Stone.

"The students have enjoyed all aspects of the performance and the staff has always gone out of its way to help the kids," said Matt Stearns, Chittenango High School music department chair. "The entire show is wonderful, but specifically, the Christmas portion will give you goose bumps. The visual effects and the added voice of Billy Dean add such a wonderful holiday feeling."
