VERONA -- Whether it was a first grader singing "Santa Claus is Coming to Town", or the Chittenango High School Choir blending together for a rendition of Silent Night, singing on stage with Kenny Rogers on Thursday night was an experience those students will never forget.

The students sang during different medleys and songs of Kenny Rogers' Christmas half of the show, which featured classics sung by Kenny Rogers like Mary Did You Know, all ending in a group performance of Joy to the World.

After the show, the students said it was an experience that was not only enjoyable, but unforgettable as well.

"This was an amazing experience, the kids were so energetic up there, no one was nervous, the staff was wonderful with the kids, the entire second half was this entire Christmas medley, we had a great time, we just love singing with him it was wonderful," Music Department Chair Matt Stearns says.
