BALDWINSVILLE -- State Police in North Syracuse arrested 31-year-old Erin L. Descant of Baldwinsville for two counts of attempted robbery.

Just before 6:00 am December 23rd, Descant threatened an employee of the Quality Inn on 7th North Street in the Town of Salina with a weapon.

The employee refused to give Descant money. Minutes later, police were called to the Sunoco on 7th North Street where Descant told the night manager she was going to rob him. She fled the store when the manager activated the alarm.

Troopers arrested Descant in the Sunoco parking lot without incident.

Descant is being held in Onondaga County Justice Center in lieu of $50,000 cash or bond.
