Steady snow keeps roadside assistance businesses steady.

AAA says it's helped 1200 members with vehicle problems during the season's first significant snowfall.

Since midnight, it's gotten about 150 calls from the Syracuse area.

500 calls came from rural parts of the state, including areas in Central and Western New York.

In Rochester, about 450 members called for help. In Buffalo, AAA helped 350 neighbors.

AAA says more than half of the calls it got were about cars stuck in driveways, streets, or parking lots.

It reminds people, in order to get your vehicle out, drivers must be able to get to it safely, from a normally traveled road.
