Syracuse Police investigate bank robbery at Alliance Bank on James Street

SYRACUSE -- Alliance Bank on James Street in Syracuse was robbed just after 9:00 a.m. Wednesday.

Syracuse Police say they are investigating the bank robbery and are looking for the suspect, who is described as a black female wearing all black.

Police say the woman approached a bank teller, demanded money, and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect ran from the bank and was reportedly headed eastbound towards James Street.

Detectives are attempting to obtain photos from the bank at this time.

Anyone with information on this robbery is asked to contact the Syracuse Police Department at 315-442-5222.
