CANANDAIGUA (AP) -- An upstate New York man has admitted embezzling more than $71,000 from a Finger Lakes civic center where he was executive director.
WHEC-TV in Rochester reports that 48-year-old Michael Cronin of Canandaigua pleaded guilty Wednesday in Ontario County Court to stealing the money while he was running the Canandaigua Civic Center from December 2010 until last July.
He's scheduled to be sentenced in February on a count of second-degree grand larceny.
