HERKIMER COUNTY -- New York State Police have arrested 17-year-old Thomas Taverne, of Frankfort, for stealing two cars in the Village of West Winfield.
Troopers say the vehicles were stolen on December 23rd and 28th. They found one abandoned in the Town of Plainfield, which is in Otsego County, and the other in the Town of Winfield, in Herkimer County.
Taverne is being held in Herkimer County Jail on $10,000 cash or $20,000 bond.
