WATERTOWN -- A Watertown teacher allegedly held a New Years Eve party at her home in Watertown where she provided alcoholic drinks to minors without their parents permission, according to police.

Police in Watertown say they charged Kate D. Harrienger, 44, with one count of unlawfully dealing with a child and one count of criminal nuisance, both misdemeanors.

The Watertown Daily Times reports that Harrienger is a Watertown High School English teacher.

Harrienger was issued an appearance ticket to return to the Town of Watertown Court on January 17.
