OSWEGO COUNTY -- On Saturday January 19th at around 9:45 pm, Oswego County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to a car crash on County Route 176 in the Town of Scriba.

Deputies say that a 2012 Chevrolet pickup truck, driven by 21-year-old Jordan Davies, flew off the road and hit a utility pole and several trees. The truck then became airborne and hit an empty building, where it stopped.

Davies was pronounced dead at the scene. Deputies say excessive speed was likely to blame for the wreck.
