Utica Police investigate after shots are fired

Around 4:30 AM on Sunday, the Utica Police say in an email that they responded to the 500 block of Lansing Street in regards to shots being fired.

Officers actually located a house, on the 500 block of Blandina Street, that had one of it's windows shot out.  Several other bullet holes were found in the sideing of the house.

Numerous spent .45 caliber shell casings were found in the roadway by officers.

The investigation is ongoing.

The Utica Police Department is asking anyone with information to call the Criminal Investigation Division at 315-223-3510.
