ROCHESTER (AP) -- A western New York woman who admitted setting the fire that killed four of her children is due back in court for sentencing.
Rochester media outlets report that 31-year-old Bobbie Kugler will be sentenced on Tuesday for assault, arson and manslaughter. She pleaded guilty in December in Monroe County Court and is expected to get seven to 15 years in prison.
Kugler admitted setting fire to a picture of her ex-boyfriend and tossing it onto a dresser filled with combustible materials. She said she had drunk four or five 40-ounce bottles of malt liquor and downed a handful of sleeping pills before setting the fire.
The fire last February killed 14-year-old Gage Reavey; 13-year-old Greg Kugler; 12-year-old Kandee Kugler; and 6-year-old Kaiden Kugler.
