NEW HARTFORD -- At about 3:49 PM on Wednesday evening, the New Hartford Police Department responded to State Route 5 and Middle Settlement Road due to the report of a two car crash.

According to Sgt. M. A passenger in Alden's car, 58-year-old Carol Alden of New Hartford had to be removed from the vehicle by use of hydraulic cutting equipment.

Both Carol Alden and Bulaja were sent to St. Luke's Hospital for treatment.  Bulaja complained of chest pain.
