Thursday may prove to be the calm before the storm as there are winter storm warnings and advisories for all of Central New York for Friday into Saturday morning.  This includes a storm warning for Onondaga County.

By 8 am on Friday, areas north of Route 31 are expected to get 2 to 4 inches while the Thruway corridor will get a coating to an inch and areas south will see even less.

By 7 am on Saturday, the Syracuse area could have 4 to 9 inches of the white stuff with areas north seeing accumulations of 9 to 15 inches.

The high for Thursday is expected to be 26 degrees with a low of 21.
