Syracuse to have new professional lacrosse team

SYRACUSE -- Lacrosse fans listen up! Professional lacrosse is making a comeback in Central New York. Neal Powless of the Onondaga Nation announced the formation of the new professional indoor lacrosse team at a press event on February7th at the OnCenter War Memorial.

The team, called the Syracuse Stingers, will play an exhibition match against the NY Lax AllStars at 7pm on February 21st.

The Stingers will use the indoor turf that the Syracuse Silver Knights currently uses for the exhibition.
