HANNIBAL -- A 13-year-old boy from Hannibal was charged Friday night for a domestic incident that occurred at his home.
The teen allegedly threatened an adult with a kitchen knife, kicked a hole in a wooden door, threw garbage down the stairs, spit at the adult and broke a chair and threw it at the victim, according to Oswego County Sheriff’s Office.
The actions were reportedly the result of a discipline he didn’t accept.
Deputies say the teen was charged with juvenile delinquency for the acts, which if committed by an adult would constitute the crimes of menacing and criminal mischief, both misdemeanors.
The teen and his parent were issued a juvenile appearance ticket directing them to contact the Oswego County Probation Department for further processing.
