ST. LAWRENCE COUNTY -- An inmate in St. Lawrence County was found hiding drugs inside a copy of the popular novel "Fifty Shades of Gray."
St. Lawrence County deputies say they arrested 29-year-old Jason A. Carter, on Wednesday after he was found to be in possession of soboxone strips hidden inside a paperback copy of "Fifty Shades of Gray."
Carter was charged with promoting prison contraband, a felony, and criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor.
Carter was arraigned and held on the charges pending further court action.
