OSWEGO -- Oswego City Police arrested two residents after an investigation into the possession and sale of heroin.

Sanchez was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, and cancel was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, according to police.

Cancel was released on an appearance ticket, due back in court on March 14.

Sanchez was arraigned and is being held in Oswego County Correctional Facility without bail. He is due back in court on February 26.
