Syracuse man attacked in parking lot, stabbed in the rear

SYRACUSE -- The Syracuse Police are currently investigating a stabbing that happened Saturday, February 16 at 12:10pm in the parking lot of the Empire Federal Credit Union at 515 Erie Boulevard East.

Police say the victim, a 24-year-old man, was attacked by four black males.

Witnesses say the men jumped out of a blue sedan and attacked the victim, stabbing him in the back and buttocks. The suspects then drove off in the same car.

The victim was taken to Upstate Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Police believe the victim was targeted by the men.

Police are asking anyone with information to call (315) 442-5222.
