SYRACUSE -- Several families were displaced by four separate fires in the Central New York area on Thursday, according to the American Red Cross.

The Red Cross says that it's volunteers sent emergency recue vehicles to the scenes while firefighters worked to extinguish the fires.

Three of the fires were in the City of Syracuse-at 1437 Burnet Avenue, 154 Clover Street and 1312 Butternut Street.  The other fire was at 3498 Hayes Road in Baldwinsville.

The final incident ended at around midnight.

All of the families had to be relocated due to the damage caused by the fires.  The American Red Cross Central New York Chapter says that made sure the families received immediate help with any lodging, food and clothing that they needed.
