Senator Kirsten Gillibrand
UTICA -- United States Senator Kirsten Gillibrand announced her “Made in America Manufacturing Act” at a news conference at ECR International in Utica. The new legislation seeks to help breathe new life into the Central New York economy, specifically that of the Mohawk Valley, by bolstering high-tech manufacturing in the region.
This is the senator’s first new bill since the new Congress took office, and would encourage local partnerships to develop plans that push growth in the manufacturing industry, specifically in the clean-tech and high-tech manufacturing fields.
