UTICA -- Bass Pro Shops announced Friday evening it has reached a deal to build a new store in Utica. The company plans a 65,000 square-foot "Outpost" store in Riverside Center at the intersection of I-90 and Route 5. The new store is scheduled to open by the end of this year.
"We are very excited to bring Bass Pro Shops to this premier site in Utica and to be a part of this great community," Johnny Morris, Founder of Bass Pro Shops said in a prepared news release. "This highly visible location is easily accessible and will allow us to bring Bass Pro Shops' low prices and famous friendly, expert service to better serve the many sportsmen and women as well as the millions of visitors to the area each year," he added.
