Cause of Buckley Park Apts. fire under investigation
Residents of 10 apartments in Building E of the Buckley Park Apartments are out of their homes after an early Sunday morning fire

Clay-area volunteer fire companies were called out early Sunday morning, to an apartment complex in Liverpool.
The fire, at the Buckley Park Apartments on Morgan Road, was reported just after 3:30am. It was held to one building, the E unit, in the complex, but the residents of the ten apartments are out of their homes. The Red Cross was on scene, assisting with emergency arrangements.
Onondaga County 911 tells us the fire took a half hour to bring under control. The Onondaga County Sheriff's Department says the fire may have started in a basement laundry room, but the exact cause is still under investigation.
