GEORGIA -- A Jamesville man was hit and killed by a car in Dalton, Georgia, on Wednesday morning.
Dalton Police say 25-year-old Timothy Parker was attempting to cross Chattanooga Road when he was hit by a car.
Police say the accident happened around 6:19 a.m. on Chattanooga Road in Dalton. The car was operated by Johnny Montgomery, 61, of Rocky Face, GA. Montgomery was not injured.
Parker was taken to Hamilton Medical Center where died from his injuries.
