Flames engulf automotive shop in Chittenango

CHITTENANGO -- Flames engulfed Burgun Automotive in Chittenango late Friday morning.

The fire reportedly broke out shortly before noon at the automotive shop at 402 Genesee Street, according to Madison County 911.

Five fire departments responded to the fire, which was reported at 11:55 a.m. Crews were still at the scene at 1:00 p.m.

The building appears to be destroyed.
