Update: driver found, arrested for dwi

Syracuse Police have now arrested  the woman they say was driving the SUV that was demolished as it slammed into a parked tractor trailer moving van.

26 year old Charida Robinson was found a half hour after the 5:10am Sunday morning crash, walking nearby, near  her home on the 400 block of nearby Clarence Avenue.  She was taken to Upstate as a precaution, but has also been charged with dwi, leaving the scene and failure to maintain lane.

The crash happened  on Midland Avenue near Hall Ave, on Syracuse's South Side. Witnesses told us they saw a woman fleeing the scene.  The SUV left behind had airbags deployed and extensive damage (see pictures below).
