EAST SYRACUSE -- Valentine's Day is one of the busiest days of the year at Hercules Candy Company in East Syracuse.
The small family run business has been making homemade chocolate for more than 100 years.
Terry Andrianos says more than 500 people will come in the store today to buy chocolate, which is about twenty times the number of customers the store sees on a normal day.
Andrianos says one reason their chocolate is so popular is that is all made by hand using fresh ingredients.
Andrianos says heart boxes filled traditional chocolates along with chocolate covered potato chips and chocolate covered Oreo’s are this years big sellers.
