Police asking for public's help in both cases
A triple shooting and a stabbing, both early Sunday morning, are keeping Syracuse Police investigators busy,
A busy Sunday morning for Syracuse Police, with a pair of serious crimes, a stabbing that's left a man critical, and a triple shooting.
The stabbing victim was driven to Upstate University Hospital around 2:30 Sunday morning. Police say 21 year old James Hudson was stabbed in the abdomen, and is critical after emergency surgery. He was uncooperative with investigators, but police think he was attacked during a fight outside Karma bar at West Genesee and Wallace Street (near the Dinosaur Bar-be-que). The three shooting victims were hit, while standing outside 1815 East Fayette Street. Police say shots were fired from the passenger side of a vehicle. unknown type, that drove west on East Fayette Street. All three victimes were taken to Crouse Hospital by private vehicle. 20 year old Robert Bullock-Roosevelt was hit in the right lower leg. Jamel Chamber, 17, was shot in the left foot. Maurice Johnson, 32, was hit in the right thigh. None of the injuries is life threatening. Again, anyone with information is asked to call Syracuse Police at 442-5222.
