SYRACUSE -- A Syracuse University student was robbed at 3:25 am January 18th outside 401 Van Buren Street, according to police.
The student told police that he was walking between the VA Hospital and the Brewster Boland Residence Hall complex when he was knocked down from behind.
The student said the man threatened to stab him and demanded his wallet. The suspect did not show the student a weapon, but did get away with his property.
The robber was described as being a male, 5' 11”, 160-180lbs, and was last seen wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and grey ski mask.
The student was unharmed. Police are asking anyone with information to call them at (315) 442-5222.
