SYRACUSE -- A gas station clerk put up a fight Wednesday night as he was being robbed and the suspect fired a shot at him.
Syracuse police say the robbery happened at the Citgo gas station at 1135 Erie Boulevard East. According to police, the suspect walked in, showed the clerk his black revolver and demanded money.
The clerk pushed the suspect and told him he was calling police. Police say the suspect ran for the door and fired a shot back at the door as he left the store. The clerk wasn't hurt.
Syracuse police are looking for a man in his late 40's. He was last seen wearing a blue and white checkered shirt and a black bandanna over his face.
