SYRACUSE -- February break can be a tough time for busy parents, but there are plenty of ways to entertain children in Central New York.

Here are just a few ideas:

The Museum of Science and Technology is open all week in Syracuse. They have recently set up some new exhibits. Children can go through a laser maze, navigate a rope maze, or even build their own maze.

The kids we spoke with say it was challenging, but fun.

"Sometimes there were tangles, and you couldn't go through the other side, so you kind of had to stop and think your way through," says 6-year-old Gabrielle Kleiner.

Onondaga Free Library is holding a week of events to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic. You can learn more information here.

Winterfest is still in full swing. Clinton Square's ice skating rink was busy Monday with kids having fun.

"I like learning tricks," says 5-year-old Maria Padalino.

Families can also look at the ice sculptures set up in Clinton Square.
