This year's Super Bowl had plenty of excitement on the field but what about the commercials?
Kevin Tripodi, Creative Director at Eric Mower and Associates says GoDaddy.com's controversial commercial showing supermodel Bar Refaeli kissing a nerdy computer technician is one Super Bowl ad that is generating a lot of buzz.
"They really achieved their goal because a lot of people are talking about that spot. So maybe it grossed people out, maybe it didn't rate so high, but I think it achieved their goal of getting them on the map again," he says.
Tripodi says Chrysler's salute to farmers is another commercial people are talking about.
Ads by Taco Bell, Samsung, and an emotional ad by featuring a Clydesdale reuniting with its owner also made Tripodi's list of positive ads.
Overall Tripodi says this was a down year for Super Bowl ads and he thinks the trend of companies pre-releasing commercials may be working against them.
"Probably 95% of the spots are out there and people are already talking about them so I think it's hard to get that surprise factor," he says.
