One dead after Manlius motorcycle crash

MANLIUS -- One person is dead following a single vehicle motorcycle accident.

Manlius Police were dispatched to the 6300 block of Old Fremont Road around 10:00 p.m. Wednesday for a report of a motorcycle crash. 

Upon arrival police found a motorcycle traveling northbound had collided with a barrier at the end of the dead end road, causing 41-year-old Angelo F. Amodei III of Phoenix to be ejected from the bike.

Amodei was transported to Saint Joseph's Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The circumstances of the crash remain under investigation.
