GEDDES -- The Pride of New York will be on display, and available for your tasting pleasure this weekend. The annual Harvest Fest promises to bring flavor to the Fairgrounds.

More than 50 food, beer, and wine vendors from all across the state will showcase their samples at the Horticulture Building Saturday, November 3, and Sunday, November 4th.

It's one of the first events to promote New York State beer, wine and cider since the summit Governor Cuomo held last week in Albany.

"I think a lot of people take for granted the fact that we have so much diversity in our industry here in New York State, the amount of products processed, grown here is tremendous," says Darrel Aubertine, the State Agriculture Commissioner.

The American Red Cross will also be there, accepting your donations to help our neighbors to the south, recovering from Sandy in New York City and New Jersey. Right now, the Red Cross has set up shelters in nine states, 100 in New York City alone.

On Saturday, Harvest Fest runs from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. . On Sunday, it runs from 12 p.m. To 5 p.m. .

Tickets are $15 in advance, and $20 at the door.
