LEBANON -- A 7 year old is in serious condition after the car she was in was hit by another vehicle around 1:00 Saturday afternoon in the Madison County Town of Lebanon.

Madison County Sheriff's deputies say Courtney Mills, 30, of Sherburne was driving north on River road in Lebanon when she lost control on the slippery roads and went into the southbound lane. Abigail Seaton, 7, of Eaton, was riding on the passenger side of the car. Minnie Hook, 34, of Lebanon, was driving south at the time, and struck Mills' car on the passenger side.

Seaton was in critical condition at the scene, and an air ambulance was called, but could not fly because of poor weather conditions. Seaton was then transported to Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse with multiple internal injuries. Her condition has been upgraded to serious, which she remains in at this time.

Mills and Hook were transported to Community Memorial Hospital in Hamilton with several non-life threatening injuries.

Sheriff's deputies say all were wearing seatbelts, and airbags in both cars deployed.

Mills was ticketed for failure to keep right.
