SYRACUSE -- This past Tuesday evening, despite it being rainy and soggy and not winter-like, car after car came through the CNYcentral parking for Wayne's annual Toys for Tots Drive Thru dropping off toys for those in need at Christmas.
CNYcentral has been a main collection point for Toys for Tots since Thanksgiving with thousands of toys dropped off and the Drive Thru is typically the highlight of the collection season.
All toys are brought to the Salvation Army Christmas Bureau at the Oncenter for their annual Distribution Day which takes place Friday, helping 3000+ families in the Syracuse area.
Wayne and CNYcentral are proud to be involved with the Salvation Army and Toys for Tots as we have been for more than 20 years.
We also thank C&S Companies, Peter Harris Clothes, Charles Heating and Air Conditioning, Laci's Tapas and Tops supermarket for their support of our annual Drive Thru and helping those in need our community.
