Most of Central New York will see 1 to 3 inches of new snow by 7 PM on Thursday, according to meteorologist Peter Hall.

There will be regular light snow for most of the area, with bursts of heavier snow.  The heavier bursts should not be an issue after midday, leaving the area with lighter showers.

It will be a cold day.  With temperatures between 15 and 20 and wind chills in the single digits, it will take more than one plow pass to clear roadways and commutes could be slippery.
