SKANEATELES -- A woman was killed in a fatal car crash in Skaneateles Thursday afternoon.

State police say 69-year-old Linda Snider was driving a Hyundai SUV on Mottville Road when she failed to yield the right of way at the State Route 321 intersection.

Police say Snider entered the intersection and was then hit by 22-year-old Brittany Barrigar, of Elbridge, who was driving a Ford SUV.

Both drivers were taken to Upstate University Hospital where Snider died from her injuries. Barrigar was treated and released.

State police are continuing the investigation.
