HERKIMER COUNTY -- State Police in Herkimer are investigating a fatal snowmobile accident that happened March 2 at around 10:30pm on Jones Road in the Town of Ohio, in Herkimer County.
Police say 47-year-old Scott W. Streater, of Frankfort, failed to negotiate a curve and was thrown from his sled, hitting a tree.
Streater was pronounced dead at the scene.
State Police are still investigating.
