NORTH CAROLINA -- A missing man from Oneida County has been found in Concord, North Carolina according to the Oneida County Sheriff's Office.

Jonathon Hopkins was last seen on Senn Road Wednesday afternoon. According to deputies, his family became worried after two men came to their New London home and took Hopkins into custody. The family tried to find after by contacting local jails and police agencies, but were unsuccessful.

Deputies couldn't find Hopkins either after the incident was reported to the sheriff's office.

The investigation into Hopkins' disappearance turned up information that he had several outstanding warrants in North Carolina, according to investigators.

Thursday afternoon the Oneida County Sheriff's Office learned Hopkins was in custody at the Cabarrus County Jail. He had been returned there by bounty hunters.
