SYRACUSE -- Three people were hurt in a head-on crash involving a school bus Tuesday morning.

It happened around 9:45 a.m. along the 1200 block of Wolf Street. Onondaga County Sheriff's deputies say 53-year-old Linda Franks, of North Syracuse, was driving an SUV on Wolf Street when she suffered from a medical condition, causing her to drift into the northbound lane and into the path of the school bus.

The driver of an A&E Transportation school bus, 40-year-old Shonda Page, and her passenger, 30-year-old Monica Mayes, suffered minor injuries in the crash. No students were on the bus at the time of the crash. Both drivers were wearing their seat belts.

All three victims were taken to Upstate University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

So far, no tickets have been issued.
